Wadhams agrees with Lockwood
DENVER—Former Colorado Republican Party chair Dick Wadhams agrees with Jonathan Lockwood, that the party must move forward and put a stop to the conspiracy rhetoric, election denialism and bring about solutions to the problems facing Coloradans. Wadhams penned an op-ed in The Denver Post, in which he called it disappointing that four of the five candidates for chair have fomented conspiracies, Lockwood being the only one to condemn them and move on. Wadhams says that Republicans must focus instead on Democratic excesses and ethical lapses—fitting in with what Lockwood has called for under the accountability banner of his campaign.
Lockwood released the following statement:
“Colorado Republicans have the opportunity to elect a new chair who believes in self-determinism, rule of law and freedom—with the proven skill set and natural abilities, and vision, needed to lead our party to success. I’m running to lead because I believe the future depends on us fighting for well-being, fulfillment and opportunity for all Coloradans. The party apparatus must be brought into the 21st century and operate like a startup, so that we can build a movement and engineer an organization that expands our party’s reach, influence and impact. I am thankful to see Dick Wadhams echo what I’ve said since the beginning and throughout this race.”
